11 & 12 Month Favorites....

1. Munchkin Sippy Cup- This is beyond our favorite sippy cup so far. We have tried at least 10 different ones, totally different brands. Matthew doesn't really like the actual sippy cups, bu he loves straws. So if your little one can suck out of a straw this is the go to cup. Plus, this is the first one that really doesn't leak, like it says lol. 

2. Little Tikes Blue Rocking Horse- This thing is awesome, although Matthew likes to stand on it sometimes, he is starting to understand that's a "no no". He loves to rock in it now!
3. Be Little You & Me Tee Pee- I'm not sure if this will justify the 150$, but honestly number one played with "toy". Matthew & his little cousin can't stay out of it, they love running in it & hiding & then zooming out. They don't like when grown ups come in, & they like to run around it in circles & bring their toys in there, who knew a one year old would love a tee pee so much!!
4. Basketball Hoop- I don't think it really matters what kind, but we love this one. Matthew knew to put the ball in the hoop right away, it was awesome!
5. Smart Trike- Not only does it have a shade, but it turns into their first tricycle once they are old enough!! Right now I control the steering and when he is ready he can control the steering, it even came with a little toy phone attached, has a zipper bag attached to put phones & wallets in, a drink holder, and a bucket on the bottom to throw stuff in, they can be as young as 7 months old!!
6. Pottery Barn Anywhere Chair- I'm not sure how to justify this over 100$ purchase either, but I was just telling my husband the other day this & the tee pee were the most "played" with items & they were the most expensive, how funny (Adam not laughing) lol. But honestly, it doesn't have to be this chair, I just love this one. Matthew loves to sit in it & climb on it, eat in it, play in it, everything. He is always looking to sit down in it!!
7. Pottery Barn Kitchen- I found this gem at a consignment shop so I did not pay the ridiculous amount of money for this baby!! Matthew really likes to turn the knobs, shut the doors, and play with the plastic food & pretend kitchen utensils.
8. Inno Tab 2- Matthew really prefers his cousins Leap Pad (not sure if he just wants it because his cousin has it, probably lol) but anyway, this thing is great you can download games on it, it has a gel protector around it, it plays music, takes pictures, its like a mini ipad for a baby!!
9. Plastic Golf Clubs- These are a hit!! Well, literally, Matthew does unfortunately go around hitting stuff with it, but hey, it keeps him preoccupied & we have been trying to teach him to hit the little plastic balls with it!!
10. ABC Letter Factory- Ahh, this thing is awesome, the song is stuck in my head 24/7. But my mom used this with my little sister & she learned her alphabet extremely young & fast!! "M says mmm, M says mmm, every letter makes a sound, M says mmmm" and it does that for every letter ;) or you can push a certain button & it plays the whole alphabet. Matthew loves to carry it around & put all the letters in and out of the place you put them to hear the song.
11. Tickle Me Cookie Monster- At first Matthew was TERRIFIED of this little cutie, it was quiet funny actually, running around the house to get away from it, screaming at the top of his lungs, but he finally came around & loves to pick it up while its rolling on the floor laughing, its like he thinks its a little person lol.
12. Gyro Bowl- Matthew loves snacks, & loves plates, forks, cups, so on. This thing really works. He will just cart it around the house with his puffs & he is set!!

10 Month Favorites....

1. Wallet- Obviously you can get a wallet anywhere, but Matthew loves the leather ones, he just loves to carry them around, & take all the cards & money out of them, seems to preoccupy him for an extremely long time. I'm all about things that satisfy him.
2. Life Factory Sippy Cups- We used the Life Factory bottles ever since Matthew was born. They are awesome. They are glass with a silicone cover. Then when your child is ready to convert to the sippy cup all you do is buy the lids, you don't even have to buy an entire new sippy cup.
3. B. Phone- I've had this on Matthew's favorites list before, but he is really digging this phone more than ever. We love to record our own voices on there, & he thinks its amazing when it rings on its own & even plays a busy dial tone!!
4. Bubbles- It doesn't matter what kind, but Matthew loves them. We don't let him blow them or play with it, he would probably attempt to drink the liquid. But he loves to chase them & has the craziest face when they pop, it's too cute. Great way to get them outside for some fresh air.
5. In Step Bike Trailer- We have an older version, but same concept, just a different color. You can push it around like a stroller with out the bike if you want or put it on the bike. Matthew loves it. It has two seats for a friend as well :) & lots of space on the bottom for shopping trips!!
6. Apptivity Ipad Case- This thing is awesome. Drool proof, enough said. It goes around your ipad & even if they drop it, its safe.
7. Apptivity case for I phone-  They don't have this for the 5 yet, but I'm impatiently waiting. We don't have it, but I know it would be even greater than the ipad one, since Matthew is still head over heals for our phones.
8. Ella's Kitchen Organic Food Pouches- I CAVED. I still make Matthew's baby food, but we eat healthy so I give him what we are normally eating which I've made as well. He really isn't into the purees anymore, but these were so easy & simple. We used them for about a month. It defiantly helped me out!!
9. Smuckers Uncrustables- I know some people say stay away from peanut butter, but they eventually have to try it. I've been giving these to Matthew for a month, he loves them, super easy for a meal & super soft obviously for his little gums to mash. Only 8 teeth still!!

10. Tupperware- This is one of Matthew's favorite toys, any brand, any color, just get some :)

9 Month Favorites....

1. Baby Ipad- This thing rocks, this is the first non electronic toy (technically) that he actually wants to play with. It just makes music as he presses the screen.
2. Curious George- Matthew's nana pulled George out of a closet & Matthew has been obsessed ever since, he even pulls him over his face when he sleeps (like he is trying to snuggle) I bet he wishes I would let him sleep with him all night lol. I think every baby needs some kind of stuffed animal. Matthew walks around with George in his mouth, & doesn't use his hands he looks like a dog haha.  

3. Ella's Kitchen Nibbly Fingers- Matthew loves these, they are chewy & don't make that big of a mess. I know they say for older babies, but he has done great with them.
4. Swing & Canopy- I haven't heard of a baby that doesn't like to swing yet, but this is a must. Unless you have a swing or park nearby :) They are so calm in the swings!!
5. Swimming Pool Balls- I don't know what it is, possibly the easy to grab feature haha, but Matthew loves to chew & squeeze these.
6. Baby Banz- Now that Matthew is smart enough to take his sunglasses off, these are a necessity I would say, because they can't pull them off easily.
7. Shaded Baby Float- Not sure what we would do without one of these at the pool. I would say a newborn-5 months is probably too young, but after that they work great, keeps the baby quiet & you don't have to hold them.
8. Baby Bjorn Bib- They have lots of different brands for these, but either way I love them, less messes, the ones that are just plastic & aren't actually formed into a bowl don't do anything, I promise.
9. Baby Loves To Rock Book- I would say this is the sequel to his old favorite book "Rocker Babies Wear Jeans" I think he just loves the colors, & to chew on it obviously.

7 & 8 Month Favorites....

1. Fisher Price Learning Table- After the B. toys activity cube was a success in the "standing & entertaining" category, I saw this & thought "even more perfect". Although, its a tad annoying, the volume is adjustable, ours speaks Spanish too, & there is so much to do on it. They learn to stand, the alphabet, songs, all kinds of things.
2. Imaginarium Walker- This is a recalled item, so unless you buy it via Craigslist, a friend, or Ebay....I don't think they sell it in store anymore. The recall is about the wheels coming off & the bolts that hold it together being a choking hazard. Adam checks them every time he plays with it, & screws them in if they feel or look loose. You can use any kind of walker, this one was just so cute, & he learned to walk on his own 2 days after I bought it, so ironic or not, I would recommend it :)

3. Radio Flyer Double Seat Wagon- Why yes I see that here we have a reason to pop out another child, HA, not happening before the wedding that's for sure. Matthew LOVES this thing. The squealing, the bouncing butt, we get the whole show. Plus his cousin can ride with him & his little baby friends!! I love that there are straps, there are 4 drink holders, you can put the seats down & it stores easily, store. Trust me a wagon, is not a stroller, its worth it.
4. Yo Baby Yogurt- Matthew is obsessed  & can't get enough. There are several flavors & as they get older they come in ready to go tubes too. Even I like the flavor of them.
5. Munchkin Sippy Cup- I guess it doesn't matter what sippy cup you use, but Matthew still has a hard time using the sippy cup over the bottle, but these ones are super easy to hold & totally spill proof obviously. 

6. Itzy Ritzy Snack Pouch- Love love love this thing. Some times I put pacifiers, & teething goodies in it, & some times I load it up with puffs, cheerios, apple & pear bits what ever fits. It's a little zip lock bag practically but is machine washable, comes in cute designs & your not wasting a bunch of plastic.

7. Hooded Towel- These fit Matthew perfectly, those infant towels don't do anything anymore, way too small. It makes it easy to put the hood on & then let go & wrap them in it if that makes sense.

8. Sassy Bath Friends- Matthew loves to chew on these & we like to squirt them at him & he just thinks its hilarious  I just dump them all in & we have an entertained baby.
9. Organic Gerber Crunchies- These go SUPER fast, but they taste really good (I tried) lol. I love watching him pick them up & eat them all by himself, such a big boy. They are perfect for him, because they still mush but they don't mush too much!!
10. Cheerios- We all know where to get Cheerios & what they are :) Matthew started doing really well with these at 8 months, not so much 7 months. But they are great for transitioning to harder fruit & veggie bites & such. 

11. Wiggle March Book- Matthew eats paper, paper books, paper straws, cardboard, anything like that goes directly in his mouth. This book feels like paper or card stock but it's indestructible  you can't rip it, its totally chew proof, LOVE IT. 

12. Aquatopia Bath Mat- Matthew is taking big boy baths alone now, well not completely alone haha. But, this means I'm right by the side on my knees, this is a mat that has the memory foam in it, & it has pockets & such for all the goodies you need for bath time, & then it sucks on to the bath tub on the other side.  

6 Month Favorites....

1. Wooden Iphone Teether- Matthew loves this thing, probably one of his favorite baby toys, even though the cellphones, laptops, & TV remotes probably top it, but hey, this comes close. It even has him name on the back, so it's really cute.

2. B. Toys Phone- We love phones in this house, the wooden I phone teether doesn't make noise, but this one does, so he likes the noise as well. I've noticed that anything electronic, or baby electronic is right up his ally. 

3. Aden & Anais Burpy Bib- This bib is awesome, it catches all the food & lays over his shoulders as well, so it catches all the messes. I would recommend big bibs either way, they are always the best buy. 

4. Sunglasses- It doesn't matter where you get them, but we go on walks & car rides all the time & Matthew actually keeps them on, so he isn't squinting or anything & his eyes are protected!!

5. Plastic Balls- These balls came with the elephant ball popper we have, but he loves the balls more than the toy. They are easy to pick up & he likes to put them in his mouth & chase after them. 

6. B. Toys Zany Zoo Activity Cube- Three days after Matthew started playing with this he started standing up on EVERYTHING on his own. It really worked for us, he uses this, the couches, the beds, chairs, all sorts of things to stand up, it's adorable. But this toy has so much to do on it, its perfect!! 

7. Organic Banana Puffs- Matthew loves bananas, they melt super fast, & they are easy to pick up. Only down side is they are sticky, Matthew gets him in his mouth about 70% of the time right now.

8. California Baby Lotion- Matthew started crawling this month & his little legs get super rug burned so we have been using lots of lotion. I think its a plus when something smells healthy, & is healthy :)

9. Ho medics Sound Machine- This thing rocks. We put Matthew to sleep with it every single night. It's not great for traveling, but we love it at home. It even projects images on the ceiling, it has several different sounds that even adults will like, & then several baby songs!!

10. Plum Little Cremes- These are similar to puffs but they are a mix of berries & all organic. They taste awesome to me, & Matthew eats them in seconds so I'm assuming they are good!!

11. Retractable Gate- I don't think it matters what kind of gate you buy as long as it keeps your baby from going where you don't want them to go, but this one is the only gate that will fit in a certain opening in our house, so it works for us!! Or you could go old school & just shove everything you have in front of the opening ;)

12. Baby Mum Mums- I know these were on my 5 month favorites, but they are the best thing ever. They are like oval shaped, super thin, & Matthew finishes them in like 5 minutes. They are awesome for teething, & all organic. They have several different flavors, but if your child is teething this is the number one product I recommend. 

13. Boon Spoon- We used this in Florida, & now I want to use it all the time. Its so easy just to put all the food inside of it & squirt it each time they are ready for more inside of using a regular spoon & getting the food from a container/bowl. It's really meant for traveling, & it works awesome in the car. 

5 Month Favorites & Matthew's First Word....

1. Baby Bullet- I can't even begin to explain how much fun I have had making food. There are a lot of awesome baby food processors out there right now, & you don't have to even use a baby one. Any food processor will work, but I love this thing, it's super small, comes with all the goodies you need & I have already purchased extra little containers so I can store more food. Wash food, steam, grind it up, put it in the freezer/fridge & BAM, you have homemade baby food. This thing is very safe compared to some larger food processors I have seen as well. 

2. Baby Mum Mums- These things are the bomb, literally. They are organic, I don't think they have any calories, Adam said they tasted like vanilla wafers. Matthew goes through these like crazy. They are little oval wafer things that instantly mush when they get wet in Matthew's mouth, very easy to hold & really helps with teething as well. It's a little snack to preoccupy baby with. 

3. California Baby Shampoo & Lotion- We just recently switched to this brand after I came to the conclusion that what we were using didn't have anything it said it had in it & had all kinds of weird looking chemicals in it, for some reason that I never noticed. We were using Aveeno, we never had any problems with it, but when we switched we noticed that Matthew's flaky scalp went away & his skin was a whole lot smoother. It even smells healthy, if that makes since :)

4. Hyland's Teething Tablets- These work, I've seen them work. I really like them, I feel a lot more at ease giving him these, rather than loading him up with tylenol. They are super easy to use, they are very very tiny, and you just stick them under the babies tongue & there ya go. Sticking it under their tongue is a lot easier than it sounds. 

5. Baby Uggs- I can't get enough of these, I lost them for like a week & then found them, I can't even tell you how many times I needed them & didn't have them. I have several little pairs of boots, cheap ones that I have picked up along the way. All of them fall off, I can barely get him in my arms before they are on the floor. These UGGS don't fall off, they stay on really well, the Velcro on the side is so convenient, & they slide right on. They are unbelievably soft. If you don't want to spend 50$ on new ones, check out Ebay!!

6. Munchkin Baby Bath Book- It really amazes me after all the expensive toys/products I buy, Matthew is obsessed with the cheapest one. His Nana got him this one, he loves it. I spent an hour in the bathtub with him while he played with it, never dropping it. I think he loves how it feels on his gums the most & when its wet its really easy to hang on to. It's just a book of numbers, maybe 4 pages long, & has the sea horse hanging off with colorful pictures. 

7.  Chevron Shopping Cart Cover- Now of course, you don't have to go crazy like I did & get a monogrammed pillow & customized. But you really need a shopping cart cover if you plan on shopping with your little babe. I'm obsessed with this thing, I use it at restruants  shopping & Matthew loves it. Super soft, keeps him away from germs, there are pockets, & toy links, & his little pillow. This one off etsy came with straps, so I don't have to use the yucky store ones. 

8. Life Factory Glass Bottle- Something about the plastic bottles really freaks me out, I don't know why. I have been using a Avent plastic sippy cup, but Matthew doesn't like it right now. I really like these bottles, they are super cute, they don't break, there is a stretchy rubber material on them that keeps them from breaking, & the material is super easy for Matthew to hold onto compared to plastic bottles. These were on my 1 month favorites, but those were the small ones, we have graduated to the 9 oz now :)

9. MAM Pacifier/Teether- I've been on a search for the perfect teething toy, this isn't it lol, but it does the job. It hooks on to him so he doesn't loose it, & the way it is shaped makes it easy to hold & put in his mouth. Much better than the little rings that you stick in the freezer in my opinion. 

10. Aden & Anais Sleep Sack- We have one of these, only because we have only used it a few times. We are still swaddling, which we plan on stopping soon but Matthew does not know how to sleep with his hands out. I put this on here because he wears it when he naps & it never makes him sweat, which is awesome. The material is soft & very breathable. 

11. Munchkin Food Feeder- This is pretty cool. We tried it a month ago & he still couldn't hold onto it very well, well like a month & 1/2 ago. Anyway, I put a banana in it the first time, bad idea, once it got mushy and soft it went everywhere. Second time I put apple, awesome idea, it didn't come out & he really enjoyed it. Great for teething, really great. All you do is stick some fruit or veggie, even frozen breastmilk/formula, stick it in the freezer & then give it to them.

12. B. Blocks- I wasn't so sure about these, he didn't really like them at first. But after a while he started learning to pick them up & put them in his mouth & now he loves them. We like to stack them & then he pushes them down, its quite fun. Or we take them & squeeze them by his face & sound/air comes out & he really likes that. 

13. Zoli Teethers- These come pretty close to the greatest teething toy ever. He can really get a grip on these, & there is a stopper so he can't choke himself. Although I still watch him because he tries to stick the other end in, but he hasn't really choked himself doing that before anyway. He makes a "this hurts, but feels so good" face every time. He loves holding spoons, so this turned out to be perfect. 

I tried to keep it short, but I couldn't. There are too many awesome products out there that I must expose & rant about. I hope this helps all you prego mommies & mommies with younger babies!! Now for a special video. To start February off my 25 week old baby/almost 6 months old said his first word. We are 100% sure if he knows what it means, but he said it clear as day this time & I actually got it on video. He has been using his "m's" lately, like "mmmhmhmmaaammooommaa" so of course it sounded like mom or momma, but he never full on said it. I was just videoing him babbling to me to add another video of him to face book for my family/friends to see & just playing around, assuming he wouldn't say anything & at the very END of the video he said "mama". You can hear me gasp at the end, as I turned in the camera off & screamed to tell Adam. I was in shock & jumping up & down excited. It's so funny because I just mentioned on Wed, his 25 week old post that I was getting jealous because all these 6 month olds were saying their first word, & bam he said it a week before his 6 month birthday!! 

                                               

4 Month Favorites....

1. Gerber Rice Cereal (Single Grain)- Matthew didn't like this cereal alone, but when we added it to his regular feeding in the bottle, it was a hit. Not only did he stop spitting up as much, but he was fuller, leading to longer breaks in between feedings. We give him about 4-6 spoonfuls in a 4 ounce bottle of Gerber Formula. 

2. Gerber Rubber Spoons- I originally bought the "Oneida" kid's set, turns out I won't get to use those until his gums aren't as sore from all the teething going on. These are the perfect size & the rubber allows him to be able to chew on them without pain. 
3. Aden & Anais bibs- Bibs are obviously a neccisity, but I love this fabric & they are adorable. You don't have to use bibs for just feeding either, they are great to put on while your baby is teething, because they drool a lot & you don't want to be changing a ton of outfits. 

4. Infant Tylenol- I haven't tried any other brands, just this one that the pediatrician recommended. It's bubble gum flavor, Matthew normally makes a sour face when we first squirt it into his mouth, but after the inticial hit, he is begging for more (he thinks it is food). I try not to use it a lot, just because I'm not a big on medicine person, but it has been great to have on hand when he won't take any teething toys because he is in so much pain. 

5. Vulli Teether- Same brand as the Sophie the Giraffe, just boy style :) He doesn't have a great enough grip to grib on & teethe well with it, BUT the sound keeps him quite for a good while!!

6. Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes- It may be annoying, but for some reason "big people music" doesn't do much for a screaming child. It's the annoying child music that is just right. The side is a great "nah" on addition as well. 

7. Boon Drying Rack Accesory- I love this thing. We have the boon grass drying rack that this goes with. The stem comes up from the grass rack & holds the nipples & the other part of the bottle that screws on. It leaves extra room for more stuff, after having spoons, bottles, teething toys, pacifiers, you'll understand. 

8. Johnny Jump Up- This was a hit the moment he got in it, he has yet to jump in it, but he loves the feeling of being able to stand up & swing back & forth. It's like being held, although I get to keep my hands free BONUS. 

9. Baby Bjorn- This is the ultimate baby carrier. I can't stand any of the "wraps", people say they are easy, blah blah blah. But they aren't, it doesn't get much more simple then snap & go. Wrap & go= disaster. At least, for me. This thing relieves all the pains of carrying a baby without it, you can put them towards you, or facing out. Matthew has now discovered that he can chew on it as well, which helps the crying. 

10. Feel & Learn Book- This has teething rubber on the ends of it,enough said. Just kidding, but it also makes a crinkley noise, which he loves, it has animals with different textures, & lots of pretty colors. 

11. Combi Walker- I love this thing. Daddy has a nice car, so Matthew has to have a nice car too!! The "hood" comes off & turns into a normal tray for playing & feeding. When the "hood" is on it plays 4 different musical tones on the wheel & honks. It has little toys on the sides as well. It also turns into a jumper, for when he starts jumping. Two in one!!

& to finish off this entry I didn't want to forget to wish you all a Happy New Year from Matthew himself ;) I hope everyone had a fun & safe holiday!!

3 Month Favorites....

1.Bumbo- I am well aware of the recall, but it's pretty hard for a child to tip over if your watching them like your supposed to be. It's such a great way to build strength in their necks & upper body. Plus they look super cute sitting in it. They also come with a tray for when the child is older & wants to play with toys, or eat food on it.
2.O-Ball- Infants aren't the best at grabbing toys, so I've noticed a lot of toys I've purchased are probably better for later use. I love this ball, the sidings are so thin, it's super easy for Matthew to grab on & the rattling sound is a super plus because he loves noise. It teaches him to grab & associate the noise with the ball.
3.Safety First Nail Clippers- These are an essential. Matthew's hands are really too big for a lot of the scratch mittens & I don't want to have mittens on him when I'm trying to teach him to grab more & use his hands. But his nails grow EVERYDAY. Scratching his little face & everything.
4.Rocker Babies Wear Jeans Book- This is Matthew's favorite book right now, every time I hold it up he gets a big smile on his face, he loves the colors, & the words are super short & easy to read in a hurry. 

5.Pacifier Wipes- These things are awesome, no mom can tell me their child isn't constantly dropping their pacifier, unless they are using a clip on of course. I don't really like the clip on's for some reason. But these smell really good & it's just a quick wipe down & it's right back into their mouth they go.

6.Gap Nightime Sleepers- These keep his feet warm, easy to get on & off, & are great material on cold nights. We are still using a swaddle & these sleepers keep him that much warmer. You can get them anywhere Target, Carters, Walmart not just gap, where ever you prefer. 

7.Hooded Towel- I've noticed its very difficult to hold a towel & take a baby out of the tub fast enough to keep them warm or not get yourself wet fast enough. First I put the hood on while he is still in the sink bathtub, & then I lift him out and wrap it right around him. I got this one at target (they had the cutest prints).
8.Arm & Hammer Disposable Diaper Sacks- The thought of having a diaper genie grosses me out, my parents used them when I was a kid with my siblings & you could still smell the diapers outside of it. I like these little sacks because you can put them in your diaper bag so you can give each diaper it's individual smell sack & save any public places from smelling your child's waste. Plus at home I can throw any diaper in any trashcan, without having to go to where ever the diaper genie is to throw it away.
9.Carter's Burp Cloths- These are really a multi-use item. But they are super nice to have when your burping of course because formula throw up smells super bad, & breast milk spit up is still spit up, & some times there is a lot of it.
10.Rock n Play Sleeper- Before we were using the nap nanny so Matthew could sleep right next to use in the bed, he does seem to be getting a little big for it as well, but of course still fits. We just got this from a friend & it's been really nice. Adam doesn't have to reach over me to get to Matthew in the bed, because we just put it right next to our bed. Matthew rocks himself to sleep, & it's still reclined. Plus we are going to use it for when we go to Kansas to visit my family for Christmas.

2 Month Favorites....

1. City Mini Jogging Stroller- I love this stroller. The front wheel swivels perfectly, you can make a 360 just standing in the same place. The setback is buying the extras like the parent console & infant insert & tray, but its worth it. The back reclines so the child can sleep, there are two sun roofs, & a large place to stuff your diaper bag underneath. 

2. Boppy & Cover- I got this boppy cover off a friend from Etsy BaileeBugBoutique  I also got my blanket, bumbo cover, car seat cover & changing pad cover from her. She did an awesome job. I love the boppy because it is used for multiple reasons. You can just lay them on their back & have them rest on it, you can wrap it around you to breastfeed or while your holding them so your arms don't get worn out, or you can lay them flat on it (elevated) so they can do tummy time. I guess you could even use it as an over sized neck pillow if you really wanted too :)

3. Itz Been Timer- If you forget everything, this is for you. It tells you the last time the baby was changed, fed, slept, and has a timer for when you breast feed with a switch for right & left boob to keep track. 

4. Johnson's Hand & Face wipes- For a while I was using the booger wipes for everything, but realized they were too sticky, so I found these & their great. Babies always have boogers, drool, formula, breast milk, anything & everything on their face & these aren't sticky, smell good, & make the babies face super clean again.

5. Gerber Good Start Formula- We started using this as soon as he was born, because I didn't have enough milk to give him. This is what the hospital was giving, so I didn't want to change up formulas on him. So far, this has been a great formula, no constipation issues or anything.

6. Nap Nanny- I know this was on my one month favorites, but seriously, I say it all the time, just get one!! Matthew sleeps in this all night long, for like 5 1/2 hours. He sleeps reclined which is so much more comfortable for a lot of babies & it sits right on our bed against the wall on my side. I love the cover too, its made out of mink material, so soft.

7. Lamb Papesan Fisher Price Swing- I will say I should have purchased a swing that plugs into the wall instead of being battery operated, BUT, either way its a swing & Matthew loves it. The material this ones uses is so soft, there are several different sounds (the crickets are his favorite), it swings back & forth, & front to back, & the mobile above it moves in circles. Also a detachable tray in front with toys on it. 

8. Blooming Bath- FORGET THE PLASTIC TUBS, this is the real deal. Super soft, which as you can see from this post are my favorite words. What baby doesn't like super soft stuff? All you do is ring it out when your done, & also all you do is just set it in the sink. Plus, its so cute, how could you not want it? It's like putting your infant in a sink full of towels, just easier maintenance. 

9. Bright Stars Elephant Crinkle Toy- Matthew instantly stops crying & stares at this thing in shock when we touch it. It sounds a bag of chips & for some reason he loves it. & as an addition it has teethers on the bottom of it. 

10. Homedics Sound Machine- If we didn't have this I don't think we would be able to get him to go to sleep, or stay asleep. The sounds literally sooth him to sleep & keep him asleep. There is no other way to put it. I think his favorite is the ocean noise, or the heartbeat. But I throw this thing in my diaper bag even when we go places & use it. It's so tiny & portable. 

One Month Favorites....

1.Nap Nanny- We use this all day & all night. He sleeps in this, on our bed, against the wall. No one can roll over on him, he is sitting up in case of choking & the fabric is minky. He falls right asleep, when he isn't awake this is where he is at & that is over half the time. Its also lightweight to carry from upstairs to downstairs (just don't do it with the baby in it :))
2.Grass Drying Rack- Even though I am using bottles for formula, I'm also using bottles for breast feeding along with all the pump materials for breastfeeding. They don't fall out of this & dry super fast. It's easy to cart around & has plenty of room for everything. We leave it right by our bathroom sink for late night feedings.
3.Boogie Wipes- I figure I will use these more later, but I've already used them a lot. He gets boogers of course, but mainly when he has formula on his face. They smell great too!!
4.Life Factory Glass Bottles- I don't like all the controversy about plastic bottles. I really like these, there are 4 oz & 8 oz. We use two 4 oz bottles right now, I would actually even recommend one or two more for convenience!! They have a silicon wrap around them so they won't break & are super easy to clean. 

5.Satsuma Scratch mittens- These are the only mittens we own that DON'T FALL OFF!! We have three pairs from target that work OK, but these ones are by far the best & they are super soft. I would recommend buying more than four scratch mittens total whether they are these ones or not, because I always find that they are all dirty when I need a pair. 

6.Pacifiers- I'm not sure which brand these are, but we got them at Walmart. They don't have a scoop nipple on them, they are just flat & round. He really doesn't like the scoop ones & neither do I, I don't think they look like a normal nipple if you ask me. But they are lightweight so they don't fall out of his mouth as easily. 

7.Medela disposable nursing pads- I wear these all day & all night, because if I didn't, maybe TMI, but I would leak everywhere. They don't bother you & you don' t even realize they are there. Plus you just throw them away when your done with them. 

8.Summer Infant Swaddle Me- I really like these, because no matter how much your infant squirms they aren't getting out of these, they velcro shut. They are lightweight so they don't get too hot & they honestly make him stop crying instantly. 

9.Pampers Swaddlers Newborn- Matthew is still wearing newborn, but these are by far my favorite diapers, they have a yellow line down the middle & when they pee it turns blue so you know the diaper is dirty, they don't leak, & they have a scoop in the front for when the umbilical cord is still attached. 

10.Medela Lanolin- Even though I don't breastfeed 100% of the time, I still do it enough to have cracked/sore nipples & I'm not lying, this instantly relieves the pain.
