7 weeks postpartum

I can't believe it's already been 7 weeks since my little man arrived. As paranoid as I am, I did not start working out, even walking, until the doctor gave me the OK last Wednesday at 6 weeks postpartum. I have been working out in the gym everyday for the last 7 days & looks like I finally have a little something to show for it. I may not be loosing a lot of weight fast but I'm on my way to my goal 115. I weighed 113 at the beginning & gained a whooping 50 lbs. So far I have lost 21 lbs from giving birth, & 2 lbs in just a week from working out. So I have 25 lbs to go. It seems like a lot, but I know with hard work & motivation I will get there.

My Workout

20 minutes on the treadmill, walking as fast as I can without running
10-15 minutes on the stair master at a low pace setting
3 sets of 30 on alternating machines
stretch

I'm mainly focusing on cardio to get the weight off, & then I will focus more on the toning part. Each day I add more time & more weight to get better & better. I'm focusing on butt, legs, & arms the most. I have not ran yet or done any ab workouts, only because I'm trying to still take it easy because I can feel my muscles may be still strained from all the pushing I did giving birth. I'll start running & ab workouts in a couple weeks. As for nutrition, my schedule is so crazy with Matthew its hard to eat meals at the right time or nutritious meals at that, so if any one has some advice feel free to let me know :) I need something fast & easy, that isn't frozen (gross). I drink as much water as I can though, & have taken soda completely out of my diet & defiantly cut back on the sweets, compared to what I was eating. I have not yet returned back to (sex). My doctor appointment went well, & she said the stitches were healed but when she checked me, I felt like I was being cut again, so until I'm ready I will not be having sex. My ab muscles still get random pains in them, so i'm watching the exercising. Besides that, every time I lay on my stomach my lower back gets sore & spending time on the computer too much gives me a neck ache, but other than that I feel pretty close to how I felt before I got pregnant. Everyone takes different times to feel recovered, so the 6 weeks is just a guesstimate to me.
