New Blog Design....

Does everyone love the new look? I DO. I need a new look for the new year, seeing as though my header was geared completely towards Christmas :) I would love to thank the lovely Stefani from Miss Jo & Co  for giving my blog a make-over. She was very understanding, patient, & helpful. She fixed everything exactly how I wanted it :) She is just starting off with the blog designing, so anyone who would like to get a new look, you must let her do it!! She is also getting a new blog herself which will house her design business & blog. She has lots of fun posts with her little girl & family!! Below is a picture of Stefani & her precious mini!! Simply Stefani is here new site, & it will be up & running by Monday :)

Getting a new blog design made my day, because today I got in my first traumatic car accident. I will admit I have been in quite a few fender benders, but nothing to this level. This morning started off like any other morning. Adam wanted to go workout & run to the bank. I had plans to go pick up some formula & go to my friends house to get the cd of all Matthew's Valentines photos so I could upload them. Adam wanted me to take Matthew with me, so he could go ahead & go & since I was only going to be out for a little bit. But at the last minute, Nana suggested she watch Matthew, so Matthew stayed home with her. We live right by the Main street in Down Town Woodstock. There is a four way intersection with lights, but if you are coming East through the intersection, there are multiple signs stating NO LEFT TURN. Of course, living here for almost a year now, I know this, so I'm not expecting anyone to make a left turn there. I was going around 45 mph when I went through the intersection when a car made a left turn right in front of me causing me to smash into them & send there car flying into 3 other cars to the right. The airbag didn't come out, & nothing hit me, but the initial hit of the accident was so jolting, I was shaking & completely broke down into an anxiety attack. The car I hit had 4 people in it, all which are confirmed to be okay, but 2 of the people were taken away in the ambulance on stretchers (the two passenger side people where my car hit their car) & they had to use "the jaws of life" to get everyone out of the car & cut the car apart. As for the other 3 cars involved, no one was hurt & they were all fender benders. Snickers was in the car with me, but I can't remember, it all happened so fast, I think she was already on the floor, she seems to be fine still. I went to the hospital just in case. I had xrays & a cat scan done. The x rays were normal, but the cat scan showed something going on with my right ovary, after doing a ultrasound they said everything was ok & I was allowed to go home after 5 hours of being there. It was so sucky. Literally. They put an IV in me, total nightmare, I still have nightmares about the IV from my pregnancy, & have even debated not having another kid just because of an IV, that's how bad they hurt to me, & how afraid I am of them. I was screaming it hurt so bad this time, screaming that it was burning, the pain didn't go away for almost an hour, & after that the pain still lingered, all for them to tell me everything was normal UGH. Everything happens for a reason & I am SO THANKFUL to GOD right now that Matthew was not in the car, I am home safely & no one was seriously injured. Please everyone pay attention to signs & just be super careful when driving, you never know when it's going to happen.

I will upload the remainder of Matthew's Valentines photo shoot as soon as I get the cd. I'll be making Adam drive this time :) I think I'm scared to drive now!!
